Caritas Vitania
Caritas is a Catholic charity which set up its own workshop which involves providing vocational, emotional and social development for people from vulnerable groups. Through the enterprise, they have the opportunity to earn a living with dignity, leave social isolation, discover and build on their talents by creating handmade products. It aims to respond to the needs of the local community and, through an innovative approach, to promote the participation in employment, social and professional inclusion of disabled and disadvantaged people. “Caritas Vitania” affirms the sanctity of life, advocates for the poor and serves the common good, fights for justice, and shows mercy and compassion for everyone and everything on Earth. The team’s mission is for the Enterprise to be independent, sustainable and supported by youth volunteers.
