HESED – Health and Social development
The Health and Social Development Foundation works in three main areas – developing programmes in the Roma community, health programmes among vulnerable groups and research. Its mission is to promote opportunities for personal and community development, health and social well-being, and to create and promote effective approaches for successful integration of socially excluded communities. Our centres and programmes address the two most important problems in the Roma community – education and work. The foundation develops and implements successful models for early childhood development, health promotion and integrated services, which break the vicious cycle of poverty and social exclusion.
